In June last year, Adaptive presented at QCon New York, giving a preview of the performance characteristics of the Hydra platform.
In this talk, we explore how to design, deploy, and configure a modern application to achieve extreme performance in the cloud. The talk covers architectural patterns applied by the Hydra platform to provide fault tolerance and redundancy while maintaining consistently low-latency operation.
We also describe how Adaptive carries out performance testing of latency-sensitive applications as part of the CD pipeline, and cover the correct approach to storing and reporting latency metrics in distributed deployments.
