We\u2019re delighted to announce that Adaptive is now a Silver Member of the Fintech Open Source Foundation<\/strong><\/span> (FINOS<\/a>). FINOS is an organization aiming to accelerate collaboration and innovation in financial services, through the adoption of open-source software, standards and best practices. Over the last two years, we\u2019ve been committed collaborators to both FINOS events and initiatives, and we\u2019re excited to take this partnership further as a full member.<\/p>\n

\"\"As a bespoke financial technology provider to the financial services sector, Adaptive have been assisting clients with desktop interoperability workflows since the start of the company, in 2012. In 2018, we became a key contributor and participant in FINOS\u2019s highly adopted FDC3 desktop project, which aims to establish open interoperability standards for the financial desktop.<\/p>\n

Riko Eksteen<\/a>, our Head of Desktop Strategy, is a member of the FDC3 Project Management Committee (PMC), and serves as co-chair of the FDC3 API and Intents & Context Data working groups. We firmly believe that FDC3 is a key enabler in unlocking the full potential of financial workflows, and we\u2019re committed to work with the community to move the standards forward.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve also been privileged to be invited to FINOS\u2019s flagship conference, the Open Source Strategy Forum (OSSF)<\/a>, for the last two years running. In 2018, our CEO Matt Barrett<\/a> spoke on the subject of what constitutes competitive advantage for a financial institution<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(watch here<\/a>). In November 2019, Riko Eksteen on the subject of the power of FDC3 at scale<\/strong><\/span> (watch here<\/a>), and Mike Stevenson<\/a> spoke about the transformative potential of an open-source regulatory technology stack<\/strong><\/span> (watch here<\/a>). On these occasions, we were glad to share the experience we\u2019ve gained through helping our clients, while also learning from and collaborating with the other FINOS members and participants. We\u2019re looking forward to participating in OSSF in 2020, as full members.<\/p>\n
